Hi, I had some routine blood tests done and some came back abnormal so doctor gave me a fit to do I was so shocked when they called me and said I needed to see the doctor again urgently they got me in the same afternoon he said my fit test came back with over 400, well I wasn’t even sure what it ment but she said they would be referring me to see a doctor at the hospital no mention at this time of cancer, the next day I got a phone and offered an appointment for in 3 days time I attended the appointment he was a cancer specialist now he’s arranged for me to a colonoscopy as soon as they can get me an appointment. No here’s the thing I’ve not seen any blood in my poo my bowel movements have quite different over the last few months and my tummy is very tender and soft, and he said the examination he did on the day per rectal  was unremarkable so I’m lost I know I should have asked more questions when I saw him but to be honest I wasn’t expecting it to be a cancer specialist I was seeing so was a bit confused and shocked that day, I looked it up on Google and it said there was an 80% chance of bowel cancer, so I was wondering if anyone else had a reading of over 400 on their fit test and what was the outcome I’m now just waiting on an appointment for the colonoscopy hopefully it won’t be to soon as everything else as been very quickly done.
