Hi all i saw ent for sore throat he told me he has found a cyst and didnt look suspicious ,but reading the report ir says that the left side of tongue is slightly asymmetrical is this always cancer or ca there be other reasons he did say it didnt look suspicious so heres hoping i am petrified

  • It's great to hear ENT have said the cyst didn't look suspicious Amanda, although I'm sorry for the worry other parts of your report are causing.

    ENT and/or your GP would be in the best position to answer your questions about this, but I know it will be tricky to get in touch with them over the festive period. Do get in touch with them when things get back to normal as they will be able to go through the report with you and hopefully put your mind at ease about this and anything else that has been playing on your mind.
