Hi, I had heart failure back in may and was admitted to hospital, Whilst there i had a fall and hit my head causing a small bleed on the brain which in turn caused a stroke. I was told that on my scans, It showed a fatty lump on my kidney but that was all it was. I was discharged from hospital 5 months later and during a visit to my GP a few weeks after my discharge, My GP asked me if i had had my Renal Cell Cancer surgery yet? I asked him what Cancer to which he replied, the lump on my Kidney. I have had to contact everybody to sort this out and am hopefully having surgery to have my right kidney removed in January. Does anyone know if the cancer surgery gives me a high chance of another heart attack or another stroke? To make things more awkward, I have type 2 diabetes and am on medication for Bipolar. Whenever i ask professionals about these questions i have i get told.....That's not my area and to ask the next professional i see. Is there anyone out there who can give me any answers? I am struggling to keep going with all these things going on in my head. Without any help you start to wonder if you are meant to carry on?.
