Endometrial cancer Stage IV

Hi all,

I'm just about to start my chemo.  I had a hysterectomy in September; 7 hour operation which went well.

I'm stage IV with one lymph node removed and possibly a few  other bits that I'm not sure of.

I had a bowel resection to be on the safe side and the chemo is classed as "Adjuvant" i.e. precautionary as there are some small specks in my peritoneum which need to swept up.

Just thought I'd share the above.  My worry is that it might be spreading since the op but I don't think it will help me much to know as there will be a few more scans inbetween some chemo sessions.

Although I recovered well from the op I do get a few "twinges" so I'm hoping they'll go away.

Sending good wishes to everyone with their diagnoses.
