Brain tumour? - Terrified and unsure

Hi there. I’m a 24 year old female. I have bipolar disorder with real bad anxiety.

recently (over the past 2 weeks) I’ve had this weird headache. It feels like a dull pressure ache. The issue is when I lay down. When I lay down it feels way worse to the point where I’m starting to struggle to sleep. It feels like a pressure pain in my ears and around my temples when I lay on my side. The only other symptoms I’ve had is I’ve been a little nauseous recently. I’m absolutely scared to death because of ICP…because one of the causes is a brain tumour. I’m genuinely having a panic attack right now. I’m so damn scared.

  • Hi. I’m sorry you are going through this, anxiety is the worst, and unless you suffer, you don’t know what it is like. Firstly I’d say, have you been to the doctors? There are tens, if not hundreds of reasons for severe headaches… please go to a doctor… believe me I get the anxiety in going/ making the appointment but they are there to help you… I’m not a expert by any means, but I’d suggest they’d probably want to check your blood pressure/ heart rate etc… but please don’t ignore it, while it probably isn’t a brain tumour, whatever it actually could worsen c while you’re worrying about it.
sending you lots of positive thoughts and hopefully you have someone to talk to x
