Everything happening very fast.

Following bowel screening test (routine no symptoms), colonoscopy 3/10, CT, MRI, blood tests, meeting with colorectal doctor last week and oncologist tomorrow feeling numb, petrified and in shock. Will need chemo and radiotherapy to shrink tumour before removal - because of position will need permanent stoma. Feels like feet haven't touched ground. I know that I'm lucky that things moving quick as not same story for everyone but how long does it take to come to terms with what is happening?
