  • Hello Jackiejay

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Undoubtedly this is a difficult time for you and understandable that you may be struggling with some feelings of loneliness and anxiety ahead of starting treatment next week.

We know that many people will understand the loneliness that you've mentioned. Just this week  posted here to share some of her feelings about being alone in this journey. There are others here in the community who understand Jackiejay and hopefully, you will be able to connect soon.

It's good to hear that you have a supportive family around you. Don't be afraid to lean on them and share your concerns. You can also talk with your specialist cancer nurse about how you're feeling or indeed you're welcome to call our team of nurses for advice and support. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

I hope that the next few weeks go smoothly for you Jackie. Do keep in touch and let us know how you get on.

    Sending my best wishes,
