Hi I had my smear test on the 18th September I today got a phone call to say I need a biopsy on Wednesday I’m really worried I’m only 31 with 2 children
Try not to worry too much if you can as being called back after a smear test happens very often and it doesn't necessarily mean it is anything to worry about. You will find on our website useful information explaining in detail what abnormal cervical cells are and have a look too at our page on treatment if you have abnormal cervical cells which I hope will reassure you. Many members of our forum will have been through this experience before of getting that phone call and being told that you need to be seen after receiving your smear test results so try not to be alarmed as I am sure you will be looked after very well and this will be dealt with effectively. You may have had your biopsy or appointment today so I hope it all went well and that you feel a little bit better now.

Thank you so much I had my appointment today and had to have the LEEP treatment they have took away the abnormal cells and sent them off I should have results within 4 weeks x
