Scc sinus cancer

I was wondering if someone has been through a similar experienced to this but my dad recently got diagnosed with scc sinus cancer. He has tumour and as spread into his eye. He has been told he can have surgery and they would sadly have to remove his eye and then radiotherapy after. It’s been so overwhelming and so much to take in and so scary the whole thing. I wondered if anyone has been through this them self’s and could help me at all?

  • Hello Steffg

I'm sorry to hear about your Dad's recent diagnosis of sinus cancer. It's understandable that you're feeling overwhelmed and worried about him and the treatment that has been recommended.

We do have some information about nasal and paranasal sinus cancer on our website as well as a team of nurses available for support and advice on 0808 800 4040 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm).

I've had a look through the forum and I can see that there have been a few posts in the last few months from people who have been through treatment for sinus cancer. You can read through some of these by entering the term "sinus cancer" in the search function at the top of the page. Hopefully, you will be able to connect with other community members who have experience with this diagnosis.

I do hope that things progress well for your Dad Steffg. Keep in touch and let us know how you both get on.

    Best wishes,
