Rubylady - cancer of the unknown primary, diagnosed with secondaries in lungs, liver and lymph nodes. Unsure what treatment to have.

I have recently been diagnosed with cancer of the lungs liver and lymph nodes these are secondary unable to find the primary. Have been offered palliative chemo but have been given the choice of two treatments paclitaxel and carboplatin or capecitabine and carboplatin both have different side effects but no difference in the end result. Hoping to chat with someone who had to make a similar decision if what to go for as finding it difficult to decide. I have discussed with my oncologist and she just went through the side effects which I have a printed sheet of. This doesn't help me would love to know what others decided and whether you feel it was the right choice.

Thanks for your help in advance
