Sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery on Friday but wish you luck and a speedy recovery, I had a lumpectomy and lymph node testing aswell as conserving surgery on non cancerous breast September 2022 and It all went well.

My advice would be trust your team who are looking after you and give yourself time to heal, I felt fine the day after and tried to do some light cleaning as had a burst of energy and boy did I regret it, I am sure your emotions are all over the place and if not now will be after your surgery again give yourself time to heal physically and emotionally and know that you are not alone as there are so many of us who understand what you are going through and we are always hear to have a chat.

I'm stage 1 too,go for my pre op next Monday then surgery on the 1st November. Got a 3 week holiday to Turkey on the 30th Nov, what are the chances lol.hope you let us know how you get on.good luck x

Bless you too sending you luck and positive vibes aswell, I was stage 1 grade 2 and was diagnosed sortly after celebrating my 40th which really came as a shock i healed well after my surgery but just remember to give yourself time to heal and don't over do it.

Ahhh,

We all have our moments of being scared but something just seems to kick in when we are fighting to survive and like you said you have experienced cancer before and beat it as you will do so again lovely. Xxx

I was diagnosed in late August .I have my surgery on Wednesday. Strangely looking forward .just want surgery and recovery period. Going away in December. Radiotherapy will follow .  I'm having  lymph nodes removed as well to check . Good luck with your surgery for Friday 

How long was recovery,for others,when could you drive again?
