Hello I'm jan - husband has fast growing cancer in bladder

My husband has a fast growing cancer in his bladder he's had a course of immunotherapy  l asked the nurse if he could be operated  on said because he has micro colitis it would be difficult l worry it may spread  any advice please l feel l worry more than he does maybe that's a good thing

    I'm sorry to hear that your husband is being treated for bladder cancer at the moment. It's understandable that you have some concerns especially as other health conditions are impacting possible treatment options. 

    Caring for a loved one when they have a cancer diagnosis can cause lots of anxiety and I wonder if you might find it helpful to talk things through with one of our nurses for some advice and support. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040. 

    I hope that your husband's treatment sessions progress smoothly. Do keep talking with is care team about any concerns that you have.
