Hello I'm new here diagnosed with oesophagus cancer that has gone into my liver & lymphnodes I'm stage 4

My diagnosis rocked my world & I have gone from a healthy active woman to a shell of myself 

I have lost over 3 stone even though I had a have a stent fitted now I'm struggling to keep anything down as I'm vomiting day & night 

Had a course of radiotherapy which at present I'm struggling with side affects I have an appointment on the 16th with the oncologist to move onto chemo but if I'm not able to keep anything in my system & I'm so weak I'm worrying 

Any advice would be appreciated thank you

    I'm so sorry to hear about your diagnosis and that you're really struggling at the moment. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious. 

    Do you have a cancer nurse specialist that you can contact for some advice before seeing the Oncologist on the 16th? It may be that they can offer some help with managing the side effects that you're struggling with. 

    If you'd prefer to talk with one of our nurses for some advice you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. 

    I do hope that things settle for you before your appointment next week. Keep in touch Lildot and let us know how you get on.
