Drecka - diagnosed with stage 1b endometrial cancer

Just to introduce myself. I was diagnosed with Srage 1b endometrial cancer. I have had a hysterectomy and will be starting radiotherapy shortly as grade 2 LVSI was found in my uterus. After that I may or may not need chemotherapy

  • Hi I have been diagnosed with the same. Stage 1 womb cancer, wierd thing is I feel completely fine and not lost weight, and am still working  time, in fact it's just like a bad dream.  I am due to have a hysterectomy at hospital in a couple of weeks followed by radiotherapy which I am dreading.

  • Hi I was diagnosed with grade 1 stage 3c endometrial cancer and finished treatment Aug 2022 felt fine and worked up until day before treatment started, unfortunately one of the inguinal lymphnodes could not be removed as it was as the consultant put it stuck to my inguinal artery, I have a ct with contrast every 6 months after radical hysterectomy omenomectomy chemo and radiotherapy I am now back at work with the NHS part time and I see my consultant every 6 months but so far everything is stable, never give up treatment plans nowadays are so targeted to each individual, I have had the best care from the NHS, try and stay positive good luck
