Coping with a diagnosis

I’m very new to all this as you think it want happen to you? But it has? They found something in my Kidneys what still I don’t know, the next thing is Biopsy then we should no? Until then we wait but I understand there is a lot of people worse of than me ? But it don’t stop you worrying about it and thinking what will be the outcome

  • Hiya I was very new to it all also in July when I got diagnosed with kidney cancer which was an incidental find ,i didn’t get offered any biopsies has they could tell by the scan it was cancer but i am so grateful how quick i was seen,i  had surgery on 7th August where I had partial removal by robotic keyhole then they sent it off for biopsies as the specialist said sometimes they can come back benign but he was certain with the shape mine was cancer,I only spent two days in hospital,I hope you get sorted soon I know it’s hard not to worry but I just didn’t accept I had cancer I just told myself I’m having surgery and getting it removed and that I would deal with what ever came after,it was telling my two boys what was the hardest part for me, think positive it’s the waiting what’s the hardest part.
