I'm so sorry. I'm on here because I've lost a lot of friends but please know that I am praying for you right now. It's ok for your head to be a mess. I think it's normal.
Hello Kwoody
I know from my own situation how frightening the first mention of cancer is. It is stomach churning but please be reassured that once you are certain of the diagnosis and a treatment plan is worked out you will feel some relief. Your breast team is there to help in every way and then it is a matter of taking it one step at a time. The fact that the lymphnodes look clear is a definite plus. I have had a recent lumpectomy and axillary clearance and am recovering well.
Try not to worry (I know this is not easy) because you will be given the best of treatment if the diagnosis is cancer. I presume you have had a biopsy and this will determine the way forward.
Sending you my best wishes
Yes I had a core needle biopsy yesterday and my results appt next Weds. I’m so scared that it will have spread before then.
Hi Salhonestgal
Im sure your reply to Kwoody was well intentioned. But stating that you have lost lots of friends to cancer is not a very supportive or helpful post to Kwoody who is understandbly petrified. Im praying you are more considerate with your future posts.

Stay positive - waiting is so stressful.
I just walked and walked to keep my head in the right place. Clear nodes is good ( even if later shown to be wrong there is so muct they can do to treat)
I hated the wait as I was convinced would spread - 3 weeks for biopsy and then 3 weeks for surgery - that wait was worse as knew by then it was grade 3 but time flew and here we are 4 weeks later llumpectomy went well, lymph clear but now having chemo as it is TNBC aggressive to try stop recurrence.
It seems like we are all on a long journey and it is hard to stop it taking over every minute of ghe day and night - I do recommend the walking!!!
Good luck with everything - you have got this and you are definitely not alone
