I had to stop taking apalutamide as it gave me raised blood pressure and headaches blood pressure is now getting under control. Has anyone else had this problem.
I am sorry to hear that you had to stop taking Apalutamide, due to high blood pressure. I understand that about 25% of people who are on his drug, suffer this side-effect. I am glad to hear that you are now getting your blood pressure under control again. Have you been given any other treatment to replace this?
Thanks for your reply , no other treatment has been given they want restart the same one when my blood pressure is down lower, I am also on 6 monthly injections of decapeptyl was on these before apalutamide.
Must admit a bit wary of restarting and asked alternative but they seem to want carry on with the apalutamide I have told if the blood pressure and headaches return I will stop taking them .
