  • Hello Rachg124

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some concerns about your breast health. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious.

It's good to know that you've already seen your GP and that a referral to the breast clinic has already been made. As it's been a few weeks since your GP sent in the referral you could call the breast clinic and ask if they can give you an update about when you may hear about an appointment. Hopefully, they will be able to give you an update.

I'd also suggest getting back in touch with your GP about this new concern that you have and letting them know. If they feel that you need to be seen again they can then make that appointment with you.

We know that for many people this period of waiting and uncertainty can be difficult. It's natural that you're feeling worried. It can sometimes help to talk with someone about how you're feeling and I wonder if you might find it useful to talk things through with one of our nurses. I know they will be happy to offer any advice, information and support they can. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

Hopefully your appointment will come through soon Rachg124. Do keep in touch and let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes,
