So I've been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and also have all above, my heart is effectively older than i am although im relatively unaffected and live a pretty normal life.  So what I've been told so far: chemotherapy will be 6 months, they can't see any cancer, but it will eventually affect a major organ if i don't get chemotherapy. 

So how i see it: i still work as a taxi driver ( 6 hours a day) i still play golf twice a week and i still have a pint once a week (7 pints) never shorts. 

Doctor doesn't know how long i have left.... possibly 3 -5 years if i don't get chemotherapy 

Honestly 65-70 I'd be just fine as i am or close to it.

So my question is to people over 60 not to their children,  do you feel chemotherapy is worth it for the extra years?
