Hello everybody

Hello. I just want to introduce myself. I am a 50 year old man and two months ago I had an ultrasound where they found a suspicious cca 4 cm lymph node in my neck, right hand side, just above my clavical. I had a whole body mri scan, which didn’t show anything apart from the mentioned lymph node.  I had a fine needle aspiration which suggests malignant cystic mass but impossible to point to the whereabouts of a primary tumour. They also found a small nodule in my thyroid, whose aspiration sample wasn’t sufficient to draw any conclusions from. Last week I had a core needle biopsy of the lymph node and I’m waiting for the results.

I am anxious about the situation and quite embarrassed talking about it, as if I’m making a big deal out of this.

Bit I decided to reach out on this forum and maybe connect with people of a similar uncertain predicament or anyone who’s going through it, been through it.

Thank you.
