Cassy girl - recovered from anal cancer

Hi I would just like to introduce my self, 18months ago I was diagnosed with anal cancer,I would like to say I'm now cancer free following five half weeks of chemoradiation treatment,it was a difficult journey at times but I had a great team of oncology staff who were there to answer any questions I had.i now see my consultant every 6 months for check ups,but i can ring if i have any queres that are concerning me regarding post treatment side effects.

    I wanted to post to say thank you for sharing your story. I can see that you've already been chatting with others who have been on a similar journey on another thread and I know that at some point in the future, your post will offer hope to those who have also been given this diagnosis. 

    It's good to hear that you've been so well supported by the oncology staff and that as well as regular check-ups you know that you can contact them if you have any concerns.
