I'm sorry to hear that you've had some health concerns recently. You did exactly the right thing in going to see your GP and it's great to know that you've already had some initial investigations and you're now waiting for an appointment with the specialists. 

We know that this period of waiting and uncertainty can be difficult for many people. It's natural that you may have some questions about your situation and worries about possible outcomes. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for your appointment with the gynaecology team and they will be able to give you some answers and reassurance. 

I know that we've had lots of women who have been through a similar process share their stories here in the Cancer Chat community. Hopefully you will hear from some of them but in the meantime, if you'd like to talk things through with one of our nurses you're welcome to give them a call. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice and support they can. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.
