Worried! - A friend of mine has a swelling on one of their testicles. They've had a scan and now have a GP phone appt this week

Hi all, this is my first post on here. Someone I know has had a swelling on one of their testicles - no pain, just swelling. He went to the gp who said she thinks it’s a hydrocele but sent him for a scan to be on the safe side. He had the scan on Saturday - 2 days ago) and had a phone call to say he has a gp telephone appointment this week. Is this normal? I’m beside myself!

    I'm sorry to hear about your friend and for the worry this is causing.
