I'm sorry to hear that you struggled with some side effects following your first session of R-CHOP. As you say, everyone reacts differently to treatments however a sore mouth is one of the common side effects of the treatment that you're having. It's important that you let your care team know about any side effects that you experience so that they can give you any support or adjust treatments as necessary. 

There are lots of posts here on the Cancer Chat forum where people have shared their experience of this treatment. If you'd like to read through some of them then I'd suggest using the forum search function at the top of the page and searching for the terms "R CHOP" and "R-CHOP". It may be that you can connect with others who have been through this treatment regime by commenting on some of their posts.
