Newly diagnosed with incurable Neuroendocrine Cancer

Hi all,

I’ve just been newly diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer-quite rare apparently! I have an atypical carcanoid tumour under my left lung. I had to have 2 surgeries as the tumour was blocking 3/4 of my trachea. Whilst having the 2nd surgery my left lung collapsed. I also have tumours in the upper lobe of my left lung and the lining of my left lung. I started with chemo tablets 2 weeks ago, and I’m just taking things a day at a time.
