Biopsy bleed

Hi all,

I had a recall from regular mammogram today.

Shown to have mass in middle of left breast.

Didn't show on ultrasound scan so Dr wanted biopsy.

Vacuum biopsy dine and bled out awful. Large hematoma present.

Dr said not sure and couldn't give me any thing about whether it's cancer or not.

Will wait 2- 3 weeks gor results and then if not hood news can't start treatment for 4-6 weeks because of hematoma.

Any advice is welcome

    I'm really sorry to hear about the hematoma that's been found and that the doctor was unable to tell you whether it is cancerous or not.

    Waiting for results is always difficult but I'm glad you've reached out to us as our community is filled with members who have been through this, so you are not alone, and I'm sure it won't be long until some of them stop by to offer their support and advice.
