Hi Chris have cmml from 22 am on a watch and wait at moment as mine hasn't changed much in two years so haven't been given any treatment as yet did you have to wait before you was given treatment, may I ask how old you are?I am 75.
Hi Tina didn’t have wait and watch got a phone call from the hospital after a routine blood test to go and see an oncologist had a bone marrow biopsy and scan two weeks later was told l had cmml as was put on tablets straight away I’m 64 so I was 62 when diagnosed but what I can make out was my blood was funny from 2019 but my gp did nothing about it
That was not good,but don't think iwould have made any difference as this cannot be cured unless by a stem cell transplant was you offered one I am two old unfortunately.
