Hello GMOAberdeen19.  So sorry to hear about your dad.  When I was caring for my Mum, I asked her Oncologist to be completely honest with me and I asked how long has she got?  He told me, "about a week".  She lasted another 3 days.  As you quite rightly say, it is absolutely horrendous. Talking to others who have walked in your shoes (or are currently walking in your shoes) does help a great deal........I think it makes us feel less alone when we know that others understand exactly what we are going through.  Once again, so sorry for what you, your dad and the rest of your family are going through.
