  • Hello Orinoko

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been through surgery for breast cancer. I hope that you're healing well from your surgery and not finding things too difficult.

It's good to hear that you have something to look forward to later in the summer. I'm sure that the breast care team can give you advice about making sure you're sun-safe when you go away but we also have some advice on our website about your skin and cancer treatment that you may find helpful.

Hopefully, some of our members who have been through treatment for breast cancer will post to share their experiences with you soon. In the meantime, if you'd like to talk things through with one of our nurses you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Hopefully, the rest of your treatment will run smoothly and you'll be able to have a "wombling" holiday! Keep in touch and let us know how you're doing.

    Best wishes,
    Jenn
