Hi everyone my name is jacs I have just been diagnosed lung cancer after it being found firstly by copd flare up they came across it when they done a exray then went on to biopsy I have one child she's 40 and two grandsons I've wanted to cry but can't I don't know why anyway my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone with this awful dease

    It's easy for me to say is it definitely lung cancer or a tumour as I have just gone through the same thing.i thought mine was lung cancer but it turned out to be a tumour that was found just by chance !!! I have had surgery and it was removed and I got the most fantastic news last week I'm clear of cancer there was no spread in the lmyph nodes I will just be monitored for 5 years .     Thankyou so much yes its cancer spread to my lymth nodes and chest am just waiting now for treatment it's true its a silent killer I had no symptoms at all .ine was found when I was getting treatment for copd am not Reay to go anywhere soon am a fighter and am so happy for you love its lovely hearing a success you have had xx

    Similar to me regarding finding it !!! I caught covid was unwell for a few weeks so I had a chest scan for long covid and that's how they found it !!! Like yourself I had no symptoms couldn't believe it !!! Its amazing what they can do now regarding lung cancer I had a third of my upper  right lung lobe removed which removed all the cancer .the only advice I can give is stay STRONG ask lots and lots of questions when you see your consultant .xx
