Gynaecology: my 85 year old mum has been diagnosed with cancer

Hi all, just looking for a bit of advice on my 85 year old mum.  She’s been diagnosed with cancer but doesn’t think it’s that serious. Is that good or bad x

  • Hello Pips2009,

A very warm welcome to our forum and I am very sorry to hear about your mum's diagnosis. I imagine from the title of your thread that her diagnosis was to do with gynaecology. Would you mind telling us a little bit more about  her story and the cancer she has been diagnosed with so that we can give you additional information?

Our cancer nurses are also very happy to answer any questions you might have about your mum's diagnosis. You can get in touch with them on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Best wishes to you and your mum,
