Breast lumps

Hi, hope everyone is okay.

I found a lump in my breast and contacted the doctors and they gave me a face to face appointment.

When being examined the doctor found the lump I had but also another one in a different area, bit of a shock to say the least.

I have my breast clinic appointment this Tuesday morning and am beside myself worrying about possibly having a biopsy and that it’s going to hurt.

I probably sound so silly but I’m getting myself in a right state worrying about it and I might not even need to have it done.

Are the biopsy’s okay from peoples experiences? I know it is different for everyone so totally appreciate that.

Thank you for reading

  • Hi Gemma, when I went to the breat clinic back in January, I had to have several biopsies taken. I didn't find it painful, as they give you local anaesthetic to numb the area. They talk you through everything they are doing stage by stage and are very reassuring. Try not to worry too much and I hope all goes well. Xx

  • Hi, thank you so so much for taking the time to reply to me, I really appreciate it.

I’m glad to hear that your experience was okay, I think it’s sometimes the thought of it is worse and we work ourselves up so much!
Thank you SO much again and I hope you have a lovely weekend
