Poor you, 7 weeks is indeed a long time to still be waiting for LLETZ results. Don't worry though - the length of the wait doesn't mean there is necessarily anything wrong but there may just have been delays as your doctor warned you it might take 6 weeks to get your results. As it's now been well over 6 weeks, I would if I were you try and chase those results by ringing the hospital or bringing it up with your GP so that they can look into why it is taking this long and perhaps they will be able to give you an update as to when you should receive them. 

So give them a call for peace of mind and just to know whether this delay is to be expected. It won't be long now I am sure until you hear back and I am keeping everything crossed for you that it all turns out to be fine.
