Early tiny SCC

Hello Thank you for reading my post. Doctor has sent me for suspected skin SCC, I can see why looking at google.I have a small lesion on my hand of about 5mm.

Appointment in 10 days but can anyone who has been through this tell me what happens as I like to be informed. Unfortunately this isnt my first brush with cancer, i had a gyne cancer two years ago ( all fine now) but I have come from that experience needing to know every little detail of whats happening! When I go to dermatology will they confirm then and there? Will it be just a case of taking it off with simple surgery or do they freeze it off? Will I need a CT, do they check no other lesions or just concentrate on the one? Once all finished do I get check ups or is that it?

Thank you for any replies. It seems I am over reacting and I am absolutely aware it is something and nothing so am not worried, I just like to know what the timelines are.
