Hi all, I’m new to the site and just need to talk to anyone who has undergone penile surgery, as I was told today I may have to undergo surgery soon. If anyone could help me I would really like to hear from you. Thank you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're facing the prospect of surgery. Understandably this may have been difficult news to receive and it is natural that you may be experiencing a rollercoaster of emotions and have questions.
We don't currently have any men active on the forum who have had this surgery but I do know that previously jl__79 posted this thread and shared a link to his personal blog story. I also know that David2 had mentioned in this post about a support group that he'd found helpful.
We do have some information about penile cancer on our websitehere but I also wanted to give you the link for an organisation calledOrchid which is a specific male cancer charity. They also have a nurse helpline that you can call for advice and support.
Alternatively, if you'd like to chat with our team of nurses you're most welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm (excluding bank holidays). I'm sure they will be happy to offer any advice and support that they can.

Yes I had full penectomy just coming upto ten years ago due to penile cancer. What have you been told so far, which hospital are you under. Any questions just ask. We do have a Facebook group if you search penile cancer awareness and support you should find it. There is also a link on orchid. Take care..
