Hello Maggie-May, 

I am so sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis and I am sure your support is precious to him at the moment. This is a scary time for both of you as you are still finding out more about how advanced the cancer is. The bouts of sickness must also be really hard to deal with and we have information which may help you on our website on cancer and sickness but don't hesitate too to talk to his medical team about this sickness to see if there is anything they can do to help especially as you noticed it was getting more frequent. 

Have a look too at our page on oesophageal cancer which is a great resource for general information and if you have any specific questions, there is also our nurse helpline you can ring for support and simply to talk things through - it is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (but closed this bank holiday Monday) and the free number to call is 0808 800 4040. 

I also hope that you will hear from other community members who have been affected by oesophageal cancer and that they will be along shortly to share their experience with you. This is a difficult time at the moment for you and your husband and I hope that the treatment will go well and that things improve for him soon and the sickness subsides.
