Hello Nyla. I had a lumpectomy and several nodes removed back in 2019. What painkillers are you on? I was given paracetamol. To be honest, the paracetamol didn't do much good. I noticed that the pain seemed to ease off quite a bit after 2 weeks. Anyway Nyla, welcome to the forum and maybe someone else can give you some advice about the pain. Thank youou for getting back to me. I'm taking paracetamol too and some co codamol. I really though I would be OK but movement is so restricted and I'm so tired. Did you have to have radiotherapy after and how long did you wait?
Hi again Nyla. I was strongly advised to have radiotherapy by my Oncologist, but I refused it. This was a mistake on my part, because 15 months later the cancer came back. I am coping with it as best I can. There's no point in regretting things that can not be changed, but obviously I now realise that I should have had the radiotherapy to destroy the remaining cancer cells. Anyway, wishing you all the best on this journey than none of us signed up for, xx
