Hello, I am a 53 year old, mum of 5 Nannie of 4, i had a diagnosis of low grade DCIS in March, (1st) and took advisement for a lumpectomy on April 9th. The surgery went well and Im still recovering at the present time. I have a results appointment for May 3rd. Should the results show more than the surgeon anticipated, i shall listen to the MDT ( Multi-disciplinary team) advise, should i require further surgery/ treatment. I have ,surprisingly, been very calm throughout this journey, although how, is beyond me.  I haven’t previously joined the forum as I felt my diagnosis is quite minimal compared to many of you here.
