Radiation therapy for sclc

Hi everyone 

I have stage 4 small cell lung cancer and have just finished 6 cycles of chemo and have now been  told I have got to radiation therapy.  I'm just waiting for the go ahead. I was wondering if anybody knows how many sessions I have to have as know one has told me yet and I just want  to get prepared.

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I hope you are getting on OK with the treatment. It may be difficult for others here to advise on your question - it will likely only be your doctor who can do this. I understand it's important to be prepared, so hopefully you have an opportunity to discuss this with them soon - or otherwise perhaps you can give them a call to find out more.
