Hello 1st post - partner diagnosed with CMML

Just posting this to make contact. My partner of 38 years has been diagnosed with a form of leukaemia (CMML) we have an appointment to get a firmer diagnosis of which type of CMML he has.

I’m going to need support in the future and hope that someone here will be able to steer me in the right direction as in addition to his diagnosis I’m disabled with MS and he is neurodiverse (undiagnosed and doesn’t know)

I’m fighting the temptation to make this post longer so bye for now.

    I'm sorry to hear your partner has been diagnosed with CMML but I'm glad to see you've found others within our community who are also on this journey and I hope their support is providing you with strength and comfort at this time.

    We have some information about CMML on our website but if you would like to discuss your partner's situation in more detail with one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

    You may also be able to get further information, support and advice from the blood cancer charity Leukaemia Care.

    Hello Steph,

    thank you for responding, I’ve already started communicating with a couple of other users on cancerchat. I am considering “jumping ship” but if the others I’m in contact with might came with me but this leaves a bit of a gap here if we all went so future users might not know where to go if they wanted to join this journey.
