Hi there,

I have been diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer I had a mastectomy 4 weeks ago with diap flap reconstruction surgery.Recovery going really well went back last Thursday for results of my sential node biopsy to find out the cancer was in that one but not in the 2nd they took now having to have a clearance operation and agonising wait for ct results to see if it’s spread.I can’t sleep feel so sick and anxious all the time and so scared for my children.

    sorey to hear you got to have another operation I had a lumpectomy then second operation 

    I also had auxiliary node clearance it went very well x

    Stay Positive and stop worrying, I have both invasive lobular and ductal  breast cancer with 5/20 lymph nodes positive. Both my operations went well and healed and radiotherapy was fine. I am now on endocrine therapy which I am coping with as it is still early days and having blood tests to check that nothing nasty is happening. Being positive and insisting that your body is capable of coping with this is my way of moving forward and trying not to worry. Worry never cured anything. Sending virtual hugs to you and hope everything goes well.
