Hello to all fellow fighters out there. Love and respect to you all.
I’m Arlybabes from Sunderland Tyne and Wear. I’m 70 years old, retired, married for 40 years with two children and two grandsons.
Last year in February I had a Whipple Procedure and they discovered duodenal cancer which is quite rare. I had adjuvant chemotherapy and was pronounced all clear in December. Sadly, following routine scans for another condition, I was found to have metastatic tumours in my liver and a diagnosis of secondary liver cancer. I’m waiting to start palliative chemo and I’m seeing the Oncologist tomorrow.
I would love to hear of anyone who is having or has had treatment for the same or similar and how things are going.
It has hit me very hard and I’m still trying to come to terms with everything. Look forward to all replies. Keep up the fight guys.
