Nhl

Seems I’ve had nhl for 4yrs and now my blood count of white cells are 200. So treatment is being considered after being on watch and wait I’m 76yrs old and been having stomach and chest pains

so I’m hoping that the chemo may give me a few more years to live

  • Hi Salisbury and welcome to the Cancer Chat forum.

I'm sorry to hear you have NHL and about the symptoms you've been experiencing recently, but fingers crossed the treatment that is being considered is successful at keeping the cancer at bay.

You can find out more about Non Hodgkin Lymphoma and the chemotherapy you may have on our website but for any other questions you may have at this time, don't hesitate to give our cancer nurses a call on 0808 800 4040. Their phone lines are open Monday - Friday (except bank holidays) between 9a.m - 5p.m and they will do all they can to help.

I hope some of our NHL members stop by soon to offer you their support and advice, but you may also be able to connect with others through the online forum on Blood Cancer UK.

    Kind regards,
