Josie - has anyone had osimertinib for advanced lung cancer?

Hi I’m Josie and I have advanced lung cancer. It has also spread to some lymph nodes in my neck and under my arm.

. I saw my oncologist yesterday and she is going to start me on a tablet called osimertinib. So would like to hear from anyone that has had this treatment. Nothing Scary though. I wish everyone good luck with there cancer treatments and congratulations to those who had treatment and survived. I first got lung cancer in 2017 and I had that taken out by surgery. Then it came back in 2020 and I had stereotactic radiotherapy. Then it came back in 2022. After having tests, scans, biopsy’s I have now been told I can have the tablet. My oncologist was as surprised as I was that I was a candidate for it. Hope to hear from someone soon . X
