Synovial Sarcoma in the leg.

Hi there,

I've just had my first 3 day stint of chemo and whiie having chemo I was pretty much pain free and the sarcoma felt like it was shrinking.  Now I'm back home and nearly a week on I'm finding the pain is starting to return and it feels like it's getting bigger again.  Is this normal?   The other thing is my picc line is feeling permanently tight and getting shooting pains down the arm, it also feels like I have a permanent hair bobble tight around my wrist but no redness, swelling or concern from the nurses who changed the dressing.  Has anyone else had these things happen ?  TIA x

  • Hi Loons,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear of these difficulties - do be sure to discuss these with your doctor at the next available opportunity, to see what they say and to help you get any relief from the pains.

You are also welcome to give our nurses a call if you'd like to talk things through, although please note they are only able to give general advice. You can reach them on freephone 0808 800 4040 - Monday-Friday, 9-5.

Otherwise if others here have similar experience to share then hopefully you'll get some more replies soon.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
