I am pleased to find this group. My (adult) son was diagnosed a few days ago. Still trying to get my head around it. I swing from upset to angry to denial and everything in between. Most often - it just does seem real.
I'm so sorry to hear that your son was recently diagnosed with cancer. Undoubtedly this is a difficult time for you all and it's natural that you're experiencing a whole range of emotions at the moment.
We have some information on our website about coping with cancer for family and friends but I'd also suggest giving our nurses a call when you feel able to. I'm sure they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information, and support they can to help you help your son through this difficult time.
