2 weeks ago I had a bilateral mastectomy and full lymph node sweep both sides. My recovery has been remarkably good.  Now I am just waiting for the results and although I know these things take time I feel as if I am treading water.  I was diagnosed on 16/1/24

    Do you know what type and stage of breast cancer you had?

    I am sorry to hear that you needed a double mastectomy, but glad to hear that your recovery is going well. Waiting for results is one of the worst parts of our cancer journey. I hope that they come through soon.
