My husband has been diagnosed with urothelial cancer. He has been given 6 rounds of chemo which has stabilised the cancer. He's now to get radiotherapy and immunotherapy. It's not curable we're told but it's hoped to give him more time.
At the moment he's in a lot of pain he was told it could be faecal impaction and has been on laxative for a few weeks. He's now been told to stop taking the laxative by his consultant as its affecting his kidney function. He's still in pain! No one seems that concerned but it's not good for his quality of life at the moment. Anyone had similar experience and found a solution?
