Hi I am 60 now and was diagnosed with lymph node cancer when I was 59 years old, as I found a lump under my arm 2 years ago in June, the CT scan is nothing to worry about as the cancer nurses are brilliant, it isn’t painful and will give you definite results, takes about 40 mins, I was like you the unknown, i worried myself sick, I didn’t have any cancer in my breast after the CT scan,but found 14 lymph nodes under my armpit where I could only feel one, I had  stage 2 cancer in which they took out within 2 weeks,I have been through all my chemo, radiotherapy, and am now with the moving forward clinic as I’m on cancer medication to stop any lymph nodes from growing again and under the hospital for the next 5 years. Keep positive it’s the only way but it is a long journey ahead.
