Let me introduce myself: being referred to the breast clinic

I'm a 67 Yr old and lost my mom to breast cancer nearly 40yrs ago, recently after pondering to see Dr, as I noticed a change to the nipple, however Dr found something on my lymph knode and I'm now referred to breast clinic. Since I've been to Dr I've noticed some pain to nipple on occasions, I so bricking my appointment not sure I'll cope, as I care for my hubby with Dementia.

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. It's never easy waiting for appointments and dealing with uncertainty like this - I can understand your concerns, and I hope that it's not long to wait for your appointment.

    Try to take things slowly, a day at a time, while you wait, and try to keep focused on other things to help keep your mind off the worries as much as possible.
